Breathing and Energy

What experiment did you create around boundaries?
What Committed Way of Being did you choose and what experiment did you create?
What did you notice?

  2. 1) I guess my experiment this week involved just being a little more aware of what my boundries are and how should I handle them best. I tried this week to open up a little more to my close friends and let them know about my feelings when it comes to certain issues, such as my independence. This week when I felt uncomfortable about a certain situation, I tried talking instead of getting frustrated and angry. That wasn't too comfortable either but it helped in clarifying things, and I guess this particular friend realizes now how I feel about this and will be more aware of it next time something similar comes up.

    2) The CWB I picked for this week was "being ready and on time". Often times, I find myself struggling to keep up with my chores/responsibilities plan. Honestly, I always manage to find excuses for doing that, as a means to lessen the disspointment of not meeting my responsibilities; in other words: to get away with it. Sometimes this "strategy" works, while in a lot of other times it doesn't. This week, I worked on little things first, such as responding to emails as soon as I get them rather than waiting till I have "enough" time to do that, or even writing this blog as soon as I thought about it rather than putting it off for as long as I can, because of my school responsibilities.

    3) Considering that my experiments weren't huge by any means, I'm quite proud of my insignificant accomplishments. I'm on top of my emails, and I managed to write this blog rigt when I thought about it. I feel less stressed out and my guilt burden is light-er. I don't know how long I'll be able to keep up with this experiment, but I will try to do so for as long as I can :)

Mine is pretty simple: talk to anyone you would love to know.
    What did you notice?
I think it happens a lot. You meet or just see someone in class or anywhere on campus. And at certain moment, you feel maybe you two can be good friends if you know each other. It is like a first sight love. At least, I do. For many times, there have been many students in my class who shared their experiences and opinions towards certain topics. And I felt their ideas were awesome, and I would love to know more about them. However, there always have been gaps between us, which is actually built by ourselves. However, after the experiment, I truly believe that it is actually a simple action that can make a big difference. They are exactly the people you can more easily make friends with and they do appreciate your opinions too, cuz you are kinda similar with each other!

  4. Hello Everyone,
This thanksgiving, my experiment is to talk, give feedback and be more open about my boundaries. My CWB is to give benchmark feedback and acknowledgment.
This a wonderful time to do this, thanksgiving, so I am trying to do so with little things like calling up my friends back home so they know that I value them. I am also doing things like asking,"Did you like the food I cooked?!"
I know it sounds petty, but I am getting some pretty freaky results!
I will give you guys a play by play as it unfolds but guys, WORK ON YOUR EXPERIMENTS! You'll be the better for it.
Will talk to you guys soon.

  5. Sometimes, don't be afraid, don't care too much about others' opinions, JUST DO IT. I find it is more comfortable to interact with others, and enjoying my life more.

  6. I recently found a new "therapy" which is reading therapy. I found reading is really enjoybale, it can be alone, and can be a group activity. I often read by with friends, we have done several readings, "lies women believe", "fresh fire, fresh wind", and lately I am obseesed by a book "the road less traveled". When I read books time goes by quitely, and I can forget all the trouble around. It is a moment I can calm down and think about life. If anyone likes, I would like to read together with you!
